So the other day it was perfectly overcast outside so I decided to finally get out there and play around with my camera and its self timer. I'm pretty happy with the shots I ended up with, but geez, I gotta say, all of the style bloggers out there who take their own photos deserve a lot more credit! Between dealing with the focus, the tripod, and running back and forth every 10 shots, it was quite the ordeal.
I definitely felt like a weirdo, and when my neighbours came outside I quickly scurried back into my cave. But, I got the job done, and now I know what I need to do differently for next time. It's all about the lighting, and knowing which angles flatter you and the outfit. And I'm also not quite sure what to do with my mouth LOL. But hey I'm pretty excited to learn!
I would love to be able to tell you where I got everything, but almost the whole outfit is thrifted, which is going to be a common thing with my outfits because I am pretty much a brand-hater.
From head to toe:
Vintage fur collar - thrift
Faux leather motorcycle jacket - thrifted but brand is Forever 21
New Orleans t-shirt - thrift
Yin-yang pendant - bought the pendant from Michaels Craft store and put it on a chain I already owned
Pink triangle necklace - Forever 21
Faux leather mini backpack - thrift
Black gloves - Dollarama
Polka-dotted skirt - thrift
Faux leather patent booties - Payless Shoe Source
